Letter From the President

Spring 2008

Welcome to Spring!! With the anticipation of spring, outdoor activities, and sunshine our thoughts are no doubt turning to Sigma Theta Tau and the annual spring induction for Psi chapter. We are excited about a new direction for induction in Psi chapter. Each school represented in Psi chapter will be planning and hosting their own induction ceremony.

The reason for this change is that we found over the last several years it has become increasingly difficult to find one day of the week at a point in the academic calendar in a location that was accessible for all folks in all the schools to gather together for one large ceremony for the chapter.

Counselors and other STT members from each school are planning induction ceremonies that will be celebrations for inductees and members for that school. We are very excited about the opportunities for participating and networking this plan will allow.

Please let us know if you would like to help with the induction ceremonies. We would LOVE to have your input!! And of course, as members, you are invited to any and all of the ceremonies.
