We Need Board Members for the Upcoming Year!

Feeling like it is time to give back for all those years on inactivity as a member of Sigma Theta Tau??

Want to be a part of revitalizing our local chapter and planning new and exciting events??

Newly inducted and eager to get involved??

If you answered "yes" or even "maybe," then we are looking to include you on the board for Psi chapter. We need folks to serve as counselors for the individual schools, and to serve as members on the finance, research, and bylaws committees. Also, we have open positions for secretary, treasurer, and president-elect.

Please contact Vicky Hertig at vhertig@u.washington.edu or any other board member to find out the responsibilities and expectations of serving on the board. As a board, we typically meet 6 times a year for 2 hours each meeting at a site that is central to all involved. We are a fun group, we love to share the activities at our schools and institutions and we are eager to engage in planning for the chapter. If you are not involved, you are missing out on an opportunity to be involved in your profession and to have fun with fellow Psi members.

Task Forces

In the last two years, STTI has changed its structure. Instead of having many standing committees, we have a number of task forces. If you are interested in serving on one of them, please contact the chairperson listed:

  • Induction Task Force, Barbara West, VP Seattle Pacific University
  • Communication Task Force, Janet Dubois, VP Pacific Lutheran University
  • Finance Task Force, Susan Landis, University of Washington, Seattle
  • Program Task Force, Liz Bridges, VP University of Washington, Seattle
